FOR ALL TEEN’S OF THIS GENERATION. Relationship between parents and teen’s

 One thing i learned about life today :-

That parents are also wrong at some point in time , tho we know that parents are also humans , and bound to carry out mistakes thru out their life , but in the stereotypical mindset of “ Indians “ we assume that parents are the incarnation of god and admirably less often to make a mistake , yes surely they are the incarnation of god , protecting us from of all harms and putting us in front of everything , but they truly do make mistakes in understanding the typical mindset of a teenager. i don’t know how many of you have felt this , but i often find my parents saying that :

Today for eg: “ I told dad , i would not take a bath as i having a hard kinda type of irritation in nose and a solid chest pain , ( for context : i only take bath in hot water ) so being in kinda high temperature (98.7 F) , i would not recommend taking a bath , as there this feeling of suffocation and irritation which constantly tortured me the last i took bath while having 98 or above farenheit , due to which i said , sorry dad , i would not take a bath today , ( for context 2 : my dad baths at least twice a day )

then my dad said , there is nothing like , stop giving me excuses , even i once have gone thru your age , and i do know how it feels to take bath while having a kinda high temperature.

Then i am like , Dad you won’t understand , believe me when i say , that i can’t afford to take a bath today.

Then my dad is like , You have grown so big , that you think we know nothing , only you kids of the nowadays generation knows everything , are we that dumb that we are not able to understand you ? ohh , i will now stop telling you to do stuff , is this okay now ? , these were the only days remained to see now .

Then i am like , full on silent mode

At least according to me , this is how a typical parent would give you a reply for certain topics you speak out . it’s just feels , bad when you know that it’s your parents you love the most and at some point in time they start to drift away from you has they are not able to match with perspective . and you think back in time , that those were the days , when you did not have any proper understanding about life , and went with the flow , your parents told you to. it feels bad , when you think about drifting away from reality and go into your own place of imagination where you won’t have to re - consider your actions and thoughts. it feel’s bad when your own , parents bother less to understand you better. as we grow , we just begin to realize that , the generation gap is just growing wider and wider , while increasing the distance of you and your parents bonding. it hit’s hard when your parents think that you have absolutely start to minute them out , and begin to think that they know nothing. That’s not the case , we teenager’s are just to outside the zone of completely explaining ourselves , and are not in that situation of completely inculcating your tough opinions on our mindset’s. Dad and mom , you guys have to cut the rope binding you guys from understanding us , giving yourself the time to understand who we are going in to . if you guys bring in this barrier now , then as we be able to set ourselves into our own feet ,then the barrier would just be increased in length and width by us . try to understand the now a days generation . Don’t always bring in that statement that , we have also been thru your age , and know how it feels.

Times have changed , so do our mindsets of the nowadays youth , try being in our shoes and understand the situation and view the situation from our own eyes , rather then inculcating your background of experiences in between . “ we are kids now , we do require your love , care and guidance in our own way of understanding , we do require your all thru experiences , which would bind us in a way that would shape us into a better person.

YOU GUYS ARE THE WORLD TO US , BUT WE JUST EXPECT THE WORLD TO BE RE INNOVATED IN A MUCH BETTER SUITED WAY BASED ON OUR UNDERSTANDING. NO COMBINATION OF 26 ALPHABETS IS EVER QUALIFIED ENOUGH TO EXPLAIN MIRACULOUS ACTIVITIES . IT’S BEYOND ANY ENERGY IN THE UNIVERSE TO EVER DEFINE YOUR GOOD DEEDS , JUST THAT WE EXPECT YOU GUYS TO DISCARD THE STEREOTYPICAL MINDSET THAT ALL TEEN’S DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR PARENTS OR THAT THEY HAVE GROWN TOO BIG TO CARE LESS ABOUT YOU GUYS :)

IT TRULY HURTS , WHEN YOU GUYS DON’T UNDERSTAND US.
